Litigation Project Manager at AmLaw Firm

A large AmLaw 100 firm is looking for a Project Manager with extensive experience in Litigation for a full-time position that will last for 6 months to 1 year. There is a strong potential that the project may last even longer than a year, depending on the volume of the work from the client.

This is a high-level consulting opportunity. Entry level candidates will not be considered. 


  • High volume document management and deadline tracking
  • Coordinating with multiple stakeholders
  • Except for the occasional meetings, most of the work can be done remotely.


  • Minimum of 5-8 years in litigation and project management
  • Will consider experienced project managers, or a senior litigation paralegal with 5-10 years of large firm experience and strong project management skills
  • Candidate should be able to commit on-site in New York City (on occasion) for meetings, but will consider remote candidates on the East Coast
  • Experience dealing with C-level executives and partner-level attorneys
  • Strong preference for attorneys who are actively barred within the United States


  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to translate complex business and legal concepts into clear and compelling text.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, research and interpersonal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • An ability to handle time-sensitive requests and to generate quality work product in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work independently but also within a team
  • Independence and integrity; able to meet deadlines, work efficiently, and manage oneself in a telecommuting/remote environment.
  • A confident, professional manner that comes across effectively with the Firm’s lawyers and staff.
  • Strong academic credentials are essential.
