Civil Litigation Attorney

A small firm in Central New Jersey is interested in hiring an attorney with experience in civil litigation to provide case support. Candidates are able to work remotely, but should be able to report to their offices as needed. 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in civil litigation matters
  • Experienced in drafting motions, briefs, pleadings, and correspondence
  • Able to interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses
  • Able to analyze the probable outcomes of cases, using knowledge of legal precedents
  • Can advise clients concerning business transactions, claim liability, advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, or legal rights and obligations
  • Must be actively barred in the state of New Jersey

  • Ability to identify complex problems and reviewing related information to develop, and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Must have a sense of integrity, being honest and ethical.
  • Ability to accept criticism, and dealing calmly and effectively with high-stress situations.
  • Strong negotiation skills, and able to work to reconcile differences and find mutual wins, while demonstrating an ability to close deals.
