Functions & Responsibilities
Advise clients regarding one or more of these matters: asset protection, charitable giving, compensation and retirement planning, estate litigation, estates, estate tax planning, estate & trust administration, fiduciary representation, gift tax avoidance, life insurance planning, living wills, power of attorney, probate, revocable living trusts, trusts, wealth planning, etc.
Prepare all documents necessary for the various types of trusts, tax documents, investment platforms, and investment vehicles, etc.
Advise estate beneficiaries, fiduciaries, executors and other relevant individuals regarding estate management, probate processes, asset management and asset distribution.
Establish estate planning strategies and provide advice and counsel regarding trust and estate administration, asset protection planning, trust and estate settlements, wealth management plans, and gift tax matters.
Expert-level understanding of trust and estate administration, asset protection, settlements, wealth management, gift tax, probate, inheritance tax, and all relevant estate tax matters.
Experience handling both contested and uncontested wills, trusts, estate and tax matters.
Expert-level knowledge of rules, regulations, and procedures regarding the disposition of an estate and matters in probate court.
Familiarity with research software such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.
