In-House Business & Litigation Attorney

A CLE/CPE provider is looking to hire an attorney in Atlanta, GA for a part-time or full-time (30-hours to FT) in-office position. The candidate should have a background in business law, litigation, and content development as they will be responsible for content creation and development of the company’s CLE webinars.

The company will consider candidates willing to relocate to Atlanta permanently.


  • Content Development (including, but is not limited to):
    • Develop and maintain a high level of current, substantive knowledge on the need-to-know issues facing our target audience(s) in assigned Legal Practice Areas, which may include business law and litigation, preferably including insurance and construction law.
    • Research event topics through a variety of research sources.
    • Identify, develop and leverage relationships with business attorneys, litigators and other professionals to serve as expert advisers for content development.
    • Meet all key deadlines for program creation, and strive to meet/exceed revenue targets.
  • Webinar Editorial Team Participation (including but not limited to):
    • Enhance content development (or related) processes for personal and team productivity.
    • Identify/explore new marketing channels and strategic relationships with potential partner organizations.
    • Assess and develop new marketing initiatives for business law, in-person seminars, and ancillary products.

Candidates will not be required to prepare presentation materials for CLE events. An administrative team will provide speaker recruiting and event management support.


  • 5+ years of experience/education in the legal profession specializing in business transactions and litigation.
  • Must have exceptional writing skills with the ability to position CLE content descriptions to the target markets.
  • An active bar license is strongly preferred.
  • Must be a curious, thoughtful person with a high degree of professional maturity.
  • Ability to perform all duties with an exceptional level of thoroughness, diligence, creativity, discretion and productivity with rigorous attention to detail and key deadlines.
  • Curious nature, quick, independent learner, resourceful self-starter. Ability and inclination to dig in and learn content areas outside current experience and history.
  • Ability to work independently and with others in a collegial team culture.
  • High-level communication and relationship development skills using phone, email, and personal contacts with attorneys.
  • Proven organizational and process efficiency with intense attention to detail.
  • Strong sense of urgency and commitment to meeting deadlines.
